Privacy Policy

Bloomstreak is built privacy-first. There's no account to create, nothing to log into, and no trackers watching you. Your challenge lives on your phone — and in your own iCloud if you turn squads on. This page says exactly what that means, in plain language.

What we don't do

• No analytics SDKs, no advertising networks, no third-party trackers.
• No account, no sign-in, no email or phone required. (Squads are the exception: you choose a first name and an optional photo to share with the people in your circle — see "Squads" below.)
• We never sell, rent, or share your personal data with anyone.
• No hidden background uploads of your activity. The app makes no tracking calls.

What stays on your device

Your challenges, daily check-ins, streak history, past attempts, and progress photos are stored locally on your iPhone (using Apple's on-device database). When you add a progress photo, you pick it from your photo library and it stays on your device and is never uploaded to us — though, like your other on-device data, it may be included in your standard iCloud device backup, which Apple's privacy terms govern.

Squads (iCloud)

If you start or join a squad, Bloomstreak uses Apple's CloudKit to share your progress with your circle. Squad data is stored in a shared CloudKit database — not a private one. What's shared: the first name you choose, your challenge name, your daily progress (your current day and whether you've checked in today), your last-active time, and any avatar photo you add. Anyone using Bloomstreak who has your squad's six-character join code can read that squad's member info — so only share your code with people you trust. We don't operate this server and we don't receive a copy of your iCloud data; Apple's privacy terms govern it. You can leave a squad at any time, and you can report or block another member from within the app. Squads are optional — your solo data is never sent to a shared database (though Apple may include it in your standard iCloud device backup, governed by Apple's privacy terms).

What we (the developer) receive

If you choose to send feedback (the "Help shape Bloomstreak" option), we receive the message you write, your app version, and whether you're on the free or Pro tier — so we can fix bugs and prioritize features. We don't receive your name or email unless you put it in the message. Aside from this feedback, the only other data that leaves your phone is your squad info, and that goes to your iCloud / Apple's CloudKit (see "Squads" above) — never to our servers.

Purchases

Bloomstreak Pro is sold through Apple's App Store. Apple handles the payment; we only receive your purchase status (whether Pro is active) so the app can unlock features. We never see your card or billing details.

Notifications

Reminders (your morning cue, the end-of-day rescue ping, and milestone moments) are scheduled locally on your device. They aren't sent from a server and don't involve sending your data anywhere.

Children

Bloomstreak isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from them.
